You can take the TELC English B1–B2 Dual exam with us. The exam assesses candidates at both B1 and B2 levels at the same time. Depending on the result achieved, you will receive a certificate at either B1 or B2 level.

The TELC English exam is held in person at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University.

The exam consists of two parts: a written and an oral component.

The written part lasts 115 minutes, followed by a break. The oral exam is preceded by 20 minutes of preparation. Candidates take the oral exam in pairs, and the session lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Written part

• Listening comprehension (25 minutes)
• Reading comprehension (40 minutes)
• Language elements (20 minutes: vocabulary and grammar use)
• Writing (30 minutes: task based on writing an email)

Oral part

• Talking about personal experiences and expressing opinions (monologue and interaction with the examiner)
• Presentation (monologue and interaction with the examiner)
• Discussion (dialogue with another candidate)

Exam results and certificates are available approximately six weeks after the exam date. Candidates who take the exam at UAFM will receive an email notification as soon as the documents are ready for collection.

Successful candidates receive a certificate at either B1 or B2 level. Candidates who do not achieve a result sufficient to obtain a certificate will receive a statement of results.

The certificate or statement of results may only be collected in person by the candidate who took the exam. In special cases, the candidate may authorise another person to collect the documents on their behalf. To do so, a written authorisation must be submitted to the Language Centre on the day of the exam.

• Applications are accepted until 25 June 2026, 08:00 a.m. The number of places is limited. In the event of a high number of applications, registration may be closed earlier. The order of admission is determined by the date and time of receipt of the payment confirmation.
• Consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of recruitment/examination and consent to receiving information regarding registration/examination by electronic means are required in order to participate in the registration process.
• Payment of the exam fee and submission of the registration form alone do not constitute exam registration. To confirm registration, candidates must receive a confirmation email.
• Exam fees cannot be transferred between different exams, candidates, or examination dates.
• Once registration for the exam has been confirmed, the exam fee is non-refundable.
• In the event that registration for the exam is not possible, the paid fee will be refunded to the candidate.
